A WordCamp is a low-cost or no-cost event, usually held on a weekend where WordPress enthusiasts can get together to meet one another, and learn more about how to get the most out of WordPress. <\/p>\n<p>In 2011, WordCamp San Francisco (WCSF) was one of 52 WordCamps held around the world. WordCamps are held from <a href=\"http:\/\/2012.austin.wordcamp.org\/\">Austin, Texas<\/a> to <a href=\"http:\/\/wordcamp.org.nz\/\">Auckland, New Zealand<\/a>. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and everybody has at least one thing in common: a love of WordPress. <\/p>\n<p>At WordCamp San Francisco, were were fortunate to have a great line up of speakers in 2011. The finale, each year at WCSF is the <strong>State of the Word<\/strong> address, where Matt Mullenweg, co-founding developer of WordPress, talks about upcoming WordPress developments and answers questions from the audience.
