Location

San Francisco is a great city with lots of interesting things to see and do and even more places to eat and sleep in style. The main conference will be held August 12-14 at the Mission Bay Conference Center (1675 Owens Street). There will be new-user workshops over the weekend at the Automattic Lounge at Pier 38.

Hotels

In past years we’ve negotiated hotel discounts, but most attendees were able to find better hotel deals using online travel sites, so this year our hotel advice is to shoot for something on the MUNI line (anything downtown near Market Street) so you can hop on the N or T train to get to WordCamp.
