With the increase in full time salaried developers coming onto the project it would be great to have clearer integration and guidelines. What does the first few contributions look like? What is the path to commit access? How do we assign longer and more complex projects with this in mind. Having a set of written guidelines and processes would be super helpful as we expand the core team.
Nacin authored a post about a lot of these questions on his blog in February. That might serve as a good starting point for this discussion.
