    In 3.8 we started using SASS in core, but it still remains a hot button issue (see last weeks dev chat concerning SASS and Twenty Fifteen). We should come up to a consensus on if, when, and how it should be used in core.

    +1 It does seem like we could benefit from coming up with some best practices here (best practices for WordPress, not necessarily for everyone).

    I think we could probably expand this into a general CSS roadmap discussion – have had some casual early discussions with @michael-arestad and others on it and a fair bit fleshed out.

    I agree. I’d rather we focus on the CSS roadmap and include this as part of the discussion.
