Sold Out!

Holy peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, Batman: we are sold out with over 1,000 tickets sold! Biggest. WordCamp. Evar.

Here’s where things stand:

The First-Time User Workshop on Friday at Pier 38 is completely sold out. We are looking into the possibility of repeating it on Saturday to allow for additional students, but aren’t sure yet if we have the staff to pull it off. If you would like to get on the waitlist, leave a comment on the post about it.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Mission Bay are also sold out for advance registration. The only way to get advance tickets now is to come on as an event sponsor, a WP-based business with a table in the mini trade show, or a microsponsor*.

We will sell Mission Bay walk-in tickets for $30/day or $65/3-day pass (Mission Bay only — 3-day passes do not include the newbie workshop) until we hit call-the-fire-marshal-because-we’re-so-over-capacity status (i.e., getting in as a walk-in is not guaranteed). These tickets will not come with a t-shirt on site unless we have some left in your size after 3pm on Sunday. Otherwise, we will mail you a shirt (we need to print more).

Livestream!

We are trying to set up a paid livestream. This will allow live access to sessions, including a chat room for asking questions during Q&A periods. Livestream ticket purchasers will be mailed a t-shirt.

Already have a ticket, but changing plans?

We are not able to provide refunds for purchased tickets. If you bought a ticket and decide not to attend, you can either keep your ticket and use it to access the livestream or consider it a donation to the cause, or you can give your ticket to a friend.

Get Ready

This week, this blog is going to see some serious action as speakers post about their sessions, schedule information goes up, and other bits and bobs are revealed. Make sure you’ve added us to your reader, or follow @WordCampSF on Twitter.

For those of us who do have a ticket when will the schedule including times be available? Even if we could be told how many sessions per day there will be that would be awesome. Thanks

Building the schedule template now. will post today. Sessions start at 9am every day, end between 5-6pm. Each session 1/2 hour, plenty of breaks for networking, and an hour and a half for lunch so theres’ plenty of time to eat and meet people. Two tracks per day, 8-9 sessions per track.
